The bhashatimes is devoted to publishing factual information throughout all of its content. To ensure accuracy, we take several steps: we study assertions sceptically, question assumptions, and challenge common wisdom.
We are committed to obtaining proper accuracy in all of its products. This dedication is critical to our brand and audience confidence.
The term ‘due’ suggests that the accuracy must be acceptable and appropriate to the output, taking into account the subject and type of the content, and specifically mentioning/underlining any constraints that may influence that expectation.
This means that, as appropriate given its topic and nature, all of our output must be well-sourced, based on accessible evidence, and corroborated. We try to avoid erroneous speculation by being honest and forthright about what we don’t know.
Our journalists never intentionally plagiarise or intentionally misrepresent facts or context, including visual material. We seek independent verification from sources to validate claims, information, and allegations, particularly those made by public authorities or anybody with a motive other than just reporting the truth. Claims, claims, significant facts, and other non-corroborated content are typically credited.
The bhashatimes stands behind the information it publishes and believes it to be correct. If it is proven contrary, we will alter the news item/information as soon as feasible. We never purposefully and materially mislead our audiences. We do not manipulate facts or offer made-up information as facts, as this can weaken our audiences’ trust in our content. We accept severe factual errors and promptly, clearly, and appropriately correct them.
We provide the public a fair opportunity to submit any mistakes or errors in our reporting through the ‘suggest me at mail that appears at the conclusion of every web-story that is published.
The primary role of our journalists is to report, write, and fact-check stories. One or more editors will assess the stories. For stories requiring due diligence, the bhashatimes has a multi-level fact-checking mechanism. The seniority of editors who evaluate a story before publishing is determined by a variety of criteria, including complexity, sensitivity, and time constraints.
Our Revision Procedures
While The bhashatimes.com strives for excellence and accuracy, we accept that mistakes will occur from time to time. READERS:
If a reader notices an inaccuracy, he or she should immediately contact the editor-in-chief by email or phone. Email: bhashatimes@gmaiL.com
Correction Required
A correction is not considered formally submitted until the reader contacts the editor-in-chief. Corrections sent to other bhashatimes.com staff members may not be addressed promptly or at all.
Corrections sent via email or mail should contain the error, the issue date or number, where the correction was seen (in print, online, etc.), the reader’s name, and a phone number or email address where they may be reached. Inapplicable, readers should additionally include the proper information and a source for where they acquired that information. For instance, if a Student Senate vote tally was inaccurate, please supply the meeting minutes.
The editor-in-chief will respond, and the reader may be contacted further if a clarification is required or the editor requires additional information. Please keep in mind that submitting a correction request ensures that the problem will be examined but does not guarantee that a remedy will be delivered.
When the editor-in-chief becomes aware of an inaccuracy, he or she will examine it using the information provided by the reader, meeting minutes, reporter’s recordings, and any other sources of information that are accessible to him or her.
If an error is discovered, the editor-in-chief will make a correction in all forms in which the inaccurate information was disseminated:
